Till date the available data regarding goat breeds suggests that out of 570 breeds; 187 (33%) are found in Europe, 146 (26%) Asia and Pacific region 89 (16%) Africa [1]. All these totally comprise 422 breeds. But exact for remaining 48 under controversy. Speculatively they either wild or on verge extinction having only a few numbers individuals [2].
